Generally, after the age of 45, there will be a lack of near adjustment, resulting in poor near vision. We commonly call it "old flower". After old flower, the condition of the eyes is myopic. Looking at the far myopic glasses, looking at the near presbyopic glasses (looking at the front eye is far and clear, and looking at the near needs presbyopic glasses) also requires the alternation of two pairs of glasses. The experience of using glasses is very unsatisfactory. The progressive film can be perfectly satisfied. Using the far and using the near one can be done. When selecting the progressive film for matching glasses, In addition to the accuracy of optometry data, we also need to pay attention to the importance of frame selection to avoid minefields and maximize the advantages of progressive films.

1:Material and frame type
In addition to accurate optometry, another important requirement for all lens parameters of progressive film is that the pupil center must be consistent with the lens, so we need the frame to be stable, not easy to deform, and adjustable after deformation, so we exclude frameless and memory type frames, including frameless frames of all materials, injection molding frames, memory frames, and unadjustable natural material frames.
2:Frame type
There is a fuzzy area on the nasal side and temporal side of the progressive film, which cannot be avoided during lens design, so we should consider avoiding it as much as possible when selecting the frame. The frame should not be too large, and less parts of the large frame need to be cut will retain more fuzzy areas.
The proximal area of the progressive film is designed close to the nasal side, so we can't choose to cut off the frame with more nasal side.
In order to ensure that there is enough area for near and far viewing, the height of the mirror frame shall be at least 36mm to meet the requirements of cutting and assembly
3:Nasal tray
The position of the nose support often deforms and slides due to the problems that should be worn. Wearing the progressive piece needs to be adjusted to the correct position, so we need a movable nose support that is more convenient to adjust. Excluding the fixed proportion support, we generally choose the "s" type nose support
4:Pile head
The pile head position is also adjusted, so the pile head style that is more convenient for adjustment is selected
